Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Todd, Mr. & Mrs. Zura Monroe and Mr. & Mrs. JD Rankin drove to Terre Haute, Wednesday to attend the funeral of Harry Glenn, a son of Thomas Glenn who is well known here, having married a daughter of the late James Todd. Young Glenn was in training at the aviation field at St. Paul MN when he was stricken with influenza. His father was with him at the time of his death. He was 28 years old. He was a baseball player of considerable note, and at the time he entered the service was first catcher on the St. Paul American team. He had also played with St. Louis and Indianapolis. Besides his parents he is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Frances Gregg of Terre Haute, and Mrs. JW Chowning of Fairbanks, and one brother, Frank, who is a teacher in the Pendleton school.
